I recently took the "On Camera Auditioning Class with Morman Boling Casting.  It was referred to me by my manager, and I am so glad I did!  I can not explain how much I hate to self tape!  I hate the entire process and have not understood exactly what the casting directors are looking for or how important it is for technique.  I have NEVER had a zoom audition, only self tape, so zoom was all greek to me.  Both Meg and Sunday were amazing walking us through what casting directors are truly looking for in these tapes and auditions.  So much information I had no idea about and since the class, my self tapes have vastly improved and now I won't be intimidated should I get a zoom audition.  I never realized how important just the right on camera positioning was for a casting director.  So much I never realized.  Since we are in the world of self tapes and zoom auditions now, this class is an actor's necessity and really should be a tool utilized by every up and coming actor.

I learned some extremely useful audition tools that I wasn't taught elsewhere before. I found my confidence and feel much more comfortable walking into the room. I have already been called into other casting offices since this course and I am pleased to say I was able to put these skills to work. I highly recommend this course to every actor who is serious about increasing their confidence and booking ratio.

I've tried Casting Director workshops before and I'm always wary to try another because of how many times I've been burned by a clear lack of care or "pay to play and let's get this over with" vibe that a lot of casting directors give off. Not Meg and Sunday. The four weeks I spent working on scenes, getting feedback, and having actual one on one time with both of them was invaluable to me. I could see myself actually taking their notes into the following weeks and deepening my understanding of who I am as an actor from the critique they gave me. Not only that, but the longer you're in class with them, you get to see their understanding of you as an actor by the sides they give you. It was an honor to work with them both.

The 4 week audition technique class is beyond what I thought it was going to be. I can speak for everyone in class and say that we got amazing industry insight in all four weeks! The material we got to work on is genuinely fit for each student and the one-on-one feedback in weeks 2 and 4 is extremely generous. Getting to work with actual casting directors has made the process a lot less anxiety induced for me and really helped me realize that everyone is rooting for me when I’m in the room.
